I’m excited to announce that I’ve donated my “Strolling in the Park” and “Figure Landscape” collages to an upcoming charity art auction called PawCasso. The event is taking place on November 3rd, and raises money for Homeward Trails Animal Rescue. Crazy question but I am new to the world of collage…do you work on a Masonite board or canvas board/ What type of varnish do you prefer to keep colors vibrant?
I actually work on watercolor paper, and the varnish I use is Liquitex UV-protective varnish. I also frame my collages with UV-protective glass to help protect the paper over time.
