I think I’ll revisit this collage in a few days to sharpen up a few details. For the most part it’s complete. I’m actually just about finished with this series for the show in May, and I’m beginning to go back through my work to clean things up.
Then it looks like I’ll just have to work on a couple more figurative pieces for my show in July, and then I can finally change gears by working on animal collages. I’d also like to get started on making a weekly mini collage to add to my Etsy shop again, and possibly introduce another art project to my blog.
megan!!!

Oh this is a really great one! I am loving the bottles on the shelves and how her shoulder us up a little.
There is so much detail in this one. And yet the focus is still on the woman. A beautiful piece.
This is a great piece. Look at all those bottles. Wow!
This is a great piece — love desert and bottles and so much color! Great composition! Inspiring!
I don’t know what you could add to this one to make it any better!
I really enjoyed watching this piece come together. Something about this slender woman in front of a wall of slender bottles, nicely set behind the round cakes…. utterly beautiful! I would have to agree with you when you say your backgrounds hold as much importance in your pieces as your figures.
I knew this was going to be a great one. The background bottles would be so lovely in repeat on a fabric!
Wow, you have such patience and skill in this medium!
Wonderful work 😉
