Collage on mat board. 7″x5″
Soon I’m going to get started with sketches, taking pictures, and doing a little preliminary planning for my solo exhibition next year.
Due to request, I’m making Obama portraits and artwork of his logo to sell on Etsy. Here’s the second portrait I’ve ever done of the President-elect.
At the moment, I’m done with this one. I’m ready to move on to a bunch of mini collages. I’ll try to get started on a couple of them tomorrow.
Due to a request, I’ve decided to work on a few Obama portraits. This one is the first that’s been completed in the series–and it’s a mini portrait. I think I’ll make the other ones around the same size.
And this is the last one of the series. I hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving, take care!
I’m taking a night class in graphic design and for our next class, our assignment is to create four images that reflect the four seasons based on color scheme and/or subject matter. I decided to do coffee and tea for my series. We have to use color packets of coated paper for the project, so I’m in my comfort zone since the project involves collaging, however, I’m not accustomed to using plain paper. This piece is the first one I completed in the series–the cool colors and the steam represent the coldness of winter.
Here’s a quick collage I did today. I’m going to get started on something else as well, and hopefully I’ll be able to post more this week. Things have been extremely busy for me, so I’ll try my best to work on more artwork.
Here’s the third mini collage I’ve done. I’m pretty sure that I’m going to enter this one into the miniatures juried exhibition. However, for my second entry, I’m not sure if I should enter the mini portrait or mini portrait of a gorilla–both are collages that I posted below. Any ideas on which one I should choose would be much appreciated.
