I’m momentarily finished with the “Man at the Market” collage. This will be a potential piece for my solo exhibition next year. I’ve figured that I’ll just make as many pieces as possible this year, then go back and tweak them up in a few areas before narrowing down my selections for the exhibition.
And like all of my collages, I get a little tired of working on them at some point. This one is done for the moment–I’ll return to it later, probably in a couple of months (as you can see there are only a few minor adjustments).
I made another Barack Obama logo for my Etsy store.
Another day, another Obama collage.
This is finished for now. I’ll return to it later on–I’ve discovered that it’s best to keep pushing forward with my work. If I’m tired with the way a piece is turning out, it’s best to move on and return to it when I’ve had some time away from it.
I’ve realized that I forgot to post the fourth in my series of Barack Obama collages. This one recently sold on Etsy.
This is finished at the moment. I’ll need to dive back into this in a couple of weeks to make sure everything is looking just the way I’d like it. I’ve found that whenever I work on a piece, I spend so much time hovering over it that I can’t really notice my mistakes that well. Setting this aside will help quite a bit.
